So the red mark on Lexi's eye is some thing called a Hemangioma which is a mark that appears as a bright red patch or a nodule of extra blood vessels in the skin. They say it will get worse, worse, worse and then begin to get better, better, better. The doctor said these are very common and that she wouldn't even worry much about it other than it is on her eye. They gave us some medicine that is supposed to slow down the growth of it. So we go back in two weeks again to Primary's to the dermatologist and to the eye doctor. They want to watch it very close so that it doesn't mess up her vision.
So I feel a little better that at least now we know what we are dealing with and that it is being watched closely by doctors that specialize in this in babies and children.
I have been feeling so bad about how this red mark is going to affect her life and how awful it is and on and on. But once I walked into Primary Children's hospital and saw all the other kids with problems so much worse, it made me feel so lucky that out of everything that can go wrong with a baby that this is all we have to deal with. Not saying I am happy about it in anyway, just that sometimes you think things are so bad until you see how good you really have it!
Sometimes we all just need to take a step back and look at all of the blessings we have in our lives and not worry so much about the small stuff. I have been blessed so much in my life that sometimes I take what I have for granted. But I do know how blessed I am to have such a good life with people who love and care about me.

So true:)
I'm glad that it's not something too serious. And, she is soooooo cute! Her little face is so pretty :) I still need to meet her and Korver.
Oh good! I was worrying about it and how you were doing. Hopefully it get's better quick. She's still so cute though!
So glad you were able to find out what it is! She is a doll! We had to take Nora to a specialist as well at children's hospital out here for her kidney's (she most likly has reflux), but we thought the exact same thing. I felt so bad for all of the darling children there who had much worse problems. It certainly made us count our blessings. Your sweet girl will be in my prayers.
I'm glad you now know what it is. That always makes you feel better, just having the reassurance. She's such a cutie :) I hope everything else is going well. I feel like I haven't talked to you in FOREVER.. oh wait, I haven't :P I miss that. Best of luck with little Alexis :) Hope you and Eric are doing well too :)
